How can you reduce redness after eyebrow waxing and threading treatment?

Redness after eyebrow waxing and eyebrow threading is completely normal and a common side effect. It is simply a slight irritation of the follicle from which the hair was removed and should subside over the course of the day. There's not much you can do to reduce the time it takes for the redness to subside, but there are things you can do as part of your eyebrow threading post-treatment that should help.Avoid using exfoliants (such as scrubs and glycolic acid) or anti-ageing skincare products (such as retinols) for three days before and after your HD Brows treatment to reduce skin sensitivity. If you have naturally sensitive skin, please inform your stylist so they can apply a barrier when waxing to protect the skin.If you are prone to those pesky pimples or bumps after waxing, there are a few simple tricks to avoid them. Applying SOS Rescue Brow Balm around the eyebrows after the treatment can help to soothe the skin and reduce the risk of spots. Your pores are more open after a hair removal treatment, so it's best to avoid touching the treated area for 24 hours and applying make-up as this can lead to clogged pores.Although redness, bumps and slight sensitivity are completely normal, it's important that you contact your HD Brows stylist immediately if you experience any swelling, itchy rashes, bruising, abrasions or cuts.

How do I keep my eyebrows in shape after Brow Lamination?

The eyebrow lamination does not permanently fix your hairs in the desired, brushed-up position. It loosens the bonds in your hairs so you can easily get them into the look you want. All you need to do is apply it in the morning with a Brow brush Brush them back into position to give them that fluffy finish again - no product required. These results last for 6-8 weeks, and to really enhance laminated brows and maintain the freshly laminated look until your next appointment, an ultra-strength eyebrow gel like Brow Glue a must.
